The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or UNHAPPINESS. I am in the driver's seat of my own destiny, not just the passenger."
If you become proactive you will accomplish things just a little more quickly and better than you used to do it before. Being proactive just doesn't mean to do your work quickly and have it done but, it also means to think ahead before you start anything. If you think ahead before you start doing something you can get a lot of more things done. For example,
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
To begin with the end in mind means to think of an end goal. You must always have an end goal to everything because if you don't then how would you know if you already accomplished your own goal. If you began with the end in mind then you will know what to do to reach that goal, then you'll have to make another end goal to make you keep going. If you already completed your end goal then make another end goal so it can help you push yourself to your full potential.
Habit 3: Put First things First
Putting things important first than other unimportant things will help you get things done just a little more quicker and will accomplish your goal sooner. If you put non-important things first then you'll either won't get anywhere or you'll never complete your main objective as quickly as you want to.
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
If you think win-win then you'll be able to complete the goals you wish to set out.
Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be understood
If you seek to understand, then to be understood means that you have to first learn how to listen to other before others have to listen to you. If you start doing that then you will become more successful with your work and with others around you. You'll also find that if you listen to others then they will feel a little more cooperative with you as the more you listen to them.
When you synergize it means to work together for an effective solution to a curtain problem. If you synergize then you'll be able to get things done faster and more effectively than doing things on your own. If you do things on your own then you'll either get the results that you want but with much time wasted or not get the results that you want. This also includes not letting people to join you or help with you're goal as well. If you synergize and let others help you then you'll get your goal done in record time and have an effective result mabey even better than you'd expect it.
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
When you sharpen the saw or keep your personal self in check
Reflection
As we finish The seven habits of Highly effective people there were some habits that stood out to me that I should mention. I remember when I was in middle school one of my teachers has once said to always think ahead about yours goal before you begin them which is similar to habit 2 but restated in a different way. I always still remember that advice along with others my teacher has given me. The second habit that
